Why oh why do we teach our spawn to be independent AND vocal - what a mess we create! We should teach them to be vocal at like 17 1/2 and then push them out the door at 18 - that would be perfect.
If I had not taught my kids to be vocal - I would have not heard the following today:
Dane - "My wiener tickles!" (while shaking it around)
Hunter - "But nothing!"
Dane - "I can't close my eyes" (during naptime)
Hunter - I don't have to listen to you"
etc, etc... see the mess I have created....
