They called today with the official results and the report shows a grade 4 out of 5 reflux into the right kidney and so they are going to put him on a daily dose of amoxicillian for 1 month, and when he is 2 months they will put him on bactrim?
She said that b/c the VCUG did show some reflux the doctor may not want to do another one right away but instead do the nuclear scan to try to find the obstruction and the cause of the hydronephrosis.
Now it's a waiting game to see if it clears on it's own or will require future surgery.
