Make sure he/she is CLEAR that president is NOT the same as present. Dane was positive he was going to get a present and when he did not recieve a present he was a nightmare.
So, just make it clear up front.

On a related note, be sure to over-emphasize the "V" in vote, so your kid doesn't get disappointed when there aren't any boat rides at your destination.
