Kate Hudson, seriously?

I LOVE Kate Hudson as an actress but she needs to give that boy a haircut! I am all about long/shaggy hair on boys (Dane's hair is pretty shaggy right now) but COME ON!

He also has a very soft face which could be mistaken for a girl - so the long hair does not help.

And the ponytail???? WTF.

What's New with Me This Week???

1. I never heard back about that Kindergarten job - betches. Whatever is supposed to happen will happen, so oh well.

2. Dane is still a total terror and looks abused. He has a bruise on his forehead from throwing himself down in his bed. He has a bruise/cut on the side of his mouth from falling on my bed. AND he was playing today and fell from the top bunk and scraped both legs up.

Trouble that kid.

3. My mom and dad are going to KY this Thurs-Sat to scope out the area. Dad is going to interview for that job on Friday- but it really is as good as gotten already. Dad is supposed to start on 11/3 My mom is going to stay here until at least after christmas.

4. I talked to a realtor about our house and it's not good :( Only 10 house in this district have sold - most around 50k :( ugh Honestly, we are willing to take a loss to get out of MI if my parents go - but what we consider to be acceptable may be altered as time goes on. Ideally I would like to be down there before next fall so hunter can start K down there.

5. Mom doesn't have MS! WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOO!

6. I watched about 10 min of the presidential debate and I did not know that Charlie Brown's teacher was running for president!?!?! That was all I heard, her voice! :)

ohhhhhh really???

Are Your Children Spoiled?
WebMD Feature from Oprah.com

Children aren't born spoiled. Get the 10 signs your children are brats and what you can do to set them straight. No child is born spoiled or a brat--it's only indulgent parenting can make them that way, Oprah & Friends Radio host Rabbi Shmuley says.

"Naturally, children are innocent and have a cuteness which makes people's hearts warm to them and helps bring out our best qualities," he says. "When we raise kids who are spoiled, we snuff out the child's natural attractiveness."

If you are guilty of spoiling your children, Rabbi Shmuley says chances are, you have brats on your hands.

10 Signs Your Children Are Brats:
They resort to crying or yelling when they want something.
Mine do this

They throw themselves on floor and won't get up.
This too

They constantly throw tantrums or even hit you when you punish them.
Lots of tantrums but rarely hit.

They ignore you when you ask a question.
OH yeah!

They are rude to other adults and even to other children.
Nope - they are usually really polite to other outside the immediate family surprisingly.

They refuse to share toys or treats with other children.
eh, sometimes.

They are show-offs and are constantly trying to one-up their peers to be the center of attention.
eh, sometimes.

They always want whatever everyone else has. Once they have it, they want something new.
Isn't this every kid really?

They keep a messy room and never help out around the house despite your pleas for them to do so.
...until I beat their as... oh wait, mom are you reading? Ummm, they clean their room with a smile :)

They refuse to go to bed.
Once again, don't all children do this?

They also gave tips on what to do if you children are brats - eh, whatever. It was common sense - reward good behavior, blah blah blah. Honestly - who can say that their children don't do a lot of what is on that list at least once in a while?

Besides - I already knew my kids were brats - my babysitter told me so! :)

Why can't I be rich?

Seriously - if all the celebrities gave us common folk just 100,000 bucks - it would totally change our lives.....

****YIKES**** Dentist ****YIKES****

I have to get a filling tommorrow and I am FA-REAKING out.... :( It is going to hurt soooooooooooo bad and considering that I am a big ole sissy I will have tears, no doubt.

A fun Pic for Today :)

*NOTE*
This photo was taken BEFORE Dane turned into the son of the devil. I did NOT lock him in this cage, he was laying in there with the dog - see the pillow? I wouldn't have given him a pillow :)

Now, this week, if the cage was still here....

Dane must be adopted

Because I know I didn't sleep with Satan and he has certainly become a direct decendant of the devil - for reals.

Middle Child Syndrome
Horrible, Terrible, Awful 3's
New Baby
Big Brother Starting School

It could be anyone of the above factors or (likely) a combination of all of them BUT DAMN!

I have been looking into bootcamps but for some reason 3 years old is too young. I don't understand that - he has got to be as bad, if not worse, some of those pre-teens!

There are times during the day (like when he is sleeping) when he is better, but overall he has found a way to make every waking moment of the day a complex challenge.

I will survive dammit.

I will - he's only three.

Well, if I don't survive - now you know what happened to me ;)

Disney on Ice

We went to Disney on Ice tonight and it was super cool! Hunter and Dane loved it - and little Mr Colt spent the evening with his grandma getting all loved up. So - we all had a great night :)

O~C~T~O~B~E~R

I can't believe it is already October! Goodness! We still have to get Halloween costumes, plan Hunter's party, and still fit in all of the boys' activities - busy busy! I never understood it when people who were stay at home parents said they were busy - now I get it. I usually have something going on every single day.

Anyway- I think we finally decided on a "theme" for our costumes for Hunter's party. I bribed the boys into wearing the "theme" costume to the party by telling them they can pick out a whole different costume for trick or treating - it was a sucessful bribe thus far. I am not going to reveal our costume theme early but since the boys know and have no concept of secret, I am sure everyone will figure it out.
